Rabbi Baer has devoted his creative energy for close to 30 years to developing unique approaches to teach people how to learn independently. His innovative teaching style has been utilized to teach students of all ages how to master the skills needed to learn Gemara proactively.

With close to 40 years of experience, teaching students from age 8 and up, anyone can benefit from this unique opportunity to be “trained” by Rabbi Baer.

Our mission is to help you develop the skills that will enable you to learn Gemara independently so that it will be easier for you to connect with Hashem’s precious gift, his holy Torah.

Learning Gemara can be and usually is very challenging. If one learns in a conventional yeshiva it usually takes several years of learning Gemara for many hours each day for one to gain enough proficiency to be able to learn a new Gemara independently with a significant degree of confidence.

Not everyone has the opportunity to devote so many hours daily and for such a long stretch of time to reach this very important goal.

Our aim is to streamline that process significantly through an innovative, systematic approach.

In order to gain the proficiency that you desire, you will need to:

• attain fluency in Chumash and Mishna.
• develop a vocabulary base of commonly used Hebrew and Aramaic words.
• learn how to think like the Gemara ‘thinks’.
• learn how to ask the ‘right’ questions.
• develop familiarity with the language style of the Gemara.
• use logical and creative thinking.
